New Year…New Intentions…

I’m not so much for making “resolutions.” I find I break them too easily. Instead, I’m all about setting “intentions.” Resolutions focus on change, while intentions are your vision for the future. It is not about making instant change, but rather about making a commitment to focus your energy on what it is you want to attract & be. 

My Intentions for 2011 & Beyond… 

  1. Commit to a deeper yoga & meditation practice - this really is the essence of my well being & sanity!
  2. Live more compassionately - strive to completely eliminate dairy from my diet & leather from my wardrobe. 
  3. Practice the “4 Agreements” - “Be impeccable with your word. Don’t take anything personally. Don’t make assumptions. Always do your best.” This is one of my favorite books, & I truly believe that adopting & living by these principals can lead to a greater sense of happiness. 
  4. Truly let go of the past. It’s held me back for too long & it’s time to move forward. 
  5. Learn to “just be.” This is the hardest thing for me. I am always looking forward, backward, & around the bend. I need to learn to revel in the beauty of the moment. If I am constantly looking elsewhere, I might miss what is right in front of me & that might be the one thing that I am seeking.
