Before I go any further…..
Disclaimer:
I am not a nutritionist, medical professional, scientist, etc. I am just an ordinary girl trying to make conscious and compassionate choices related to food & lifestyle.
I have no problem with others who choose to eat animal products. In fact, most of my friends & family are guiltless carnivores & I respect their choices, just as I hope they will respect mine. I won’t come to your dinner party or b-b-q with a vegan-vengeance & start a food feud with your guests. I’ll quietly bring my garden burger, or other vegan options to share. I don’t expect anyone to fuss over me. I have chosen my diet, & it works for me. Do I think there would be less pain & suffering in the world if more people chose to eat a vegetarian or vegan diet? YES. But I am not going to attack anyone who chooses to live differently. This blog is not to be a platform for my opinions, or any other type of agenda. Rather, I simply wish to inform others that there are a lot of wonderful cruelty free resources out there when it comes to food, household products, personal care products, etc.
If you wish to learn more about where your food comes from read Michael Pollan’s “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” or watch “Food, Inc.” & make the choice for yourself. It might just make you change your mind……
