Be My Vegan Valentine…
Oh Valentine’s Day, here you come again. Whether single or spoken for, I’ve never put much weight on it. It’s just not that big of a deal to me. That’s not to say that I wouldn’t treat my loved ones to something special, or that I wouldn’t appreciate a token of admiration from a “valentine.”
My favorite way to spoil a valentine is with homemade treats - cookies, chocolate dipped strawberries, festive cupcakes, etc. If I was feeling ambitious, I might try to make these…

Giving a box of homemade brownies might be a little more my speed. These also look festive & sound tasty. Besides you can’t go wrong with the PPK…

For those of you who aren’t DIYers, don’t fret. There is plenty of good stuff out there for your loved one (or for you to drop a hint about!). Like these vegan chocolate chip cookies

Allison’s Gourmet has plenty of sweet gift ideas for V Day, including this new treat. A hint of tropical vanilla mingles with tart strawberries & smooth dark chocolate in this romantic fruity bark.

Rather than the traditional box of nuts & chews (no one really likes those anyway!), why not shower your sweetie with a giant chocolate heart over flowing with special treats from Lagusta’s Luscious. A six-inch two-piece heart box made entirely of delicious edible semisweet chocolate is filled with nine artisanal treats, then carefully sealed with chocolate “glue,” wrapped in a compostable vegetable cellulose bag & tied with a gorgeous red ribbon made from compostable vegetable fiber.
