Veg-Friendly Brew Masters Dinner at Local Habit

I’ve been wanting to try Local Habit since it opened over the summer, as it has been met with rave reviews, especially from the veg crowd! While it is not a vegetarian restaurant, it certainly caters to conscious diner, with a variety of menu items that can be made vegetarian or vegan.

Local Habit is committed to using locally-sourced ingredients & supporting California-based purveyors with sustainable agriculture practices. Their menu features organic foods made from scratch using seasonally available, local produce, house cured meats & homemade breads, & also offers farm fresh salads & sides, seasonal bruschetta, artisan cheese boards & desserts (I hear the Bread Pudding is amazing!). 

Well, thanks to LOVELIKEBEER getting San Diego’s craft beer & vegan food party started, more local restaurants are catching on & following suit! On October 18th, for one night only, Local Habit is going ALL VEG! Check out the details & mouthwatering menu:

Join us for this unique food & beer experience as Local Habit Chef Nick Brune & Black Market Brewing Head Brewer Ryan Brooks collaborate to bring you five delicious courses of farm fresh vegetarian/vegan food paired with five craft beers from this up & coming Temecula brewer.

  • First Course: Corn Pudding with Creole Trinity paired with Bavarian Hefeweizen
  • Second Course: Caramelized Onion & Tomato Tart paired with Saison with Coriander & Juniper Berries 
  • Third Course: Truffled Potato Pot Pie with Carrot, Peas & Garlic paired with Anglo-American Brown Ale
  • Fourth Course: Roasted Mushrooms with Allspice & Nutmeg over Homemade Buckwheat Noodles paired with Rye IPA
  • Fifth Course: Yam Sweet Potato Tart with Agave Caramel paired with Imperial Porter 

You will be asked to specify Vegan or Vegetarian courses when making your reservation. Tickets are $65 per person, plus 18% gratuity.
